The lab’s purpose:
Simulation of industrial systems and its integration in a virtual environment. Control of industrial robots through networks. Planning and supplying of cyber physical systems. Study of HMI systems and managing programme optimisations. Surveillance of industrial robots through networks connected to the system.
Planning of re-configurable systems through industrial controller. Planning and evaluation of production systems through Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies. Creating industrial simulations for the given product to be manufactured.
The lab’s competence:
Evaluation and simulation of industrial robot systems in a simulation environment. Evaluations are to be made in a virtual space. Real-Time simulations to be compared to the functioning real hardware, analyse the differences. 3D models optimisation to decrease the requestment of the simulation system. Physical and mechanical simulations for given robot types. Simulation and designing of unique type of robots. Steps to creating HMI systems for control reasons.
The lab’s sponsors and partners:
- The lab is sponsored by Kuka Robotics Hungária Ipari Kft, ABB Mérnöki, Kereskedelmi and Szolgáltató Kft, Robot-X Hungary Kft, also by Flexlink Systems Kft.
Main components and tools of the lab:
- In the lab there are 16 robot workshops and 32 students can work at the same time. In the lab there is a TTT Q-bot which has 3 axis multitasking robot, one KR5arc KUKA industrial robot, one KR5Sxx KUKA teaching robot, and one robot built in a factory cell with a contractor connected to the SONY SCARA SRX-611 can be found. The robots are connected by a Flexlink X45e conveyor. FANUC M-1iA 0.5A picking-and-placing robot.
- For teaching we have available another 8 pieces of LEGO MINDSTORM robots and 16 self made Fischertechnik production line made out of batteries, and FESTO Robotino robot.
