The purpose of the laboratory:

The purpose of the yard for the students is to acquire competence in the use of special tools and equipment. The workshop provides proper equipment for assembling and learning the assembly of different mechatronics systems.

The competencies of the laboratory:

The students can gain experience how to use tools and assemble systems.

The main equipment and tools of the laboratory:

• The inventory of the mechatronics yard includes several tools required to assembe and operate different mechatronics systems. The equipment consists of sets of precision pliers and screwdrivers, cable and snap pliers, precision drill tower and digital electronic microscope, insulated pliers and screwdrivers, wire strippers, cable cutters and crimping tools.
• There are also tools necessary for work with printed circuit boards. Tools suitable for planting THT (through-hole) and SMD (surface mounted) components; different pliers, soldering station with various soldering tips and desoldering station.
• There is a computer controlled milling machine used for fabricating printed circuit boards.
• The equipment of the workshop greatly advances the skills of mechatronics engineering students with special tools.
