The deadline of thesis submission is 06 May 2024, 12 o’clock at noon only in E-learning!
Students must submit their Thesis in 1 copy on the day of the final exam to Gabriella Kövér. The Thesis Announcement form must be attached at the beginning of the dissertation.

The Department of Mechatronics shall accept theses submitted strictly on time. There is no possibility for extension.
A student is obliged to upload the following documents to E-learning by the deadline:
- the thesis,
- the summary
- the Turnitin similarity analysis (please note that the same document can be uploaded only once to the Turnitin system, it is not allow more)
Similarity analysis:
- the maximum rate of similarity is 15%
- a document similarity can be up to 2%
- often applied document elements like Plagiarism statement, of course, are exception.
The aim of similarity analysis is that a student shall write their own work with their own communication devices (graphs, diagrams, figures, text, and charts). Cite the literature with minimal copying but referring to it.
Turnitin sometimes takes 24 hours to check. It is an online service, and it is quite overloaded during submission.
Review and State Exam topics
Submitted theses are evaluated by the Department. The internal supervisor decides 4 topics of the written and oral topics of the comprehensive exam on the basis of reviews received (making review takes about 2 weeks) and the thesis that are organically related to the thesis.
The Department will send the reviews in email.
